I was sitting here yesterday having a bad attitude and then I came across an article about a woman fighting breast cancer. Then I heard about a fellow Chaplain whose wife just had a double mastectomy. I realized something that I should already know, but in our fallen human state, I sinned. I realized that there are so many more people in the world suffering far greater trials than ANYTHING I have ever had to go through.
Shameful of me, but as I said, I’m human. A fallen human. Thankfully God’s grace and mercy is ever lasting. So, I took myself in the bathroom, and looked at myself and said ” Shame on you Jenn, it’s not about YOU!” It’s about serving the Lord with gladness, living to serve others, and praying that I can overcome this selfish nature that overcomes me so often. I am so thankful for a loving and forgiving Lord that removes our confessed sins as far as the East is from the West. So, here’s to my new attitude!!!! A HEALTHY attitude!!!!
The Peanut Butter picture is just because it makes me smile, and we need more of that in today’s world! Thank you to all my true friends and family that overlook my selfishness and those REALLY good friends that call me on it! Love you all!!!
